Be brave, not perfect.

You'll focus on singing & playing freely and improvising in a supportive learning environment. Our focus is building community & confidence. Open to all female, queer, trans, gender-expansive, and nonbinary students on any instrument, including voice, with one year of experience.

Program Details

ELIGIBILITY

  • Grades: Grades 7 - 12 (as of 2025-2026 school year)

  • Instruments: Any instrument, including non-traditional jazz instruments such as French horn, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, etc. are welcome.

  • Must have at least one year of experience on main instrument.

2025 CAMP DATES
Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, daily

CAMP LOCATION
Seattle JazzED South Lake Union site (380 Boren Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109)

PERFORMANCE
Final performances are a meaningful part of the camp experience, offering a chance to celebrate your student's hard work. We'll share more details about the time and venue as soon as they are confirmed. We typically host the performance on the last day of camp though. Stay tuned!

SLIDING SCALE TUITION
We are committed to this program being financially accessible for ALL families. You select the tuition amount that works for you. Your tuition supports our ability to pay educators a fair wage, provide classroom supplies and sheet music, and subsidize tuition for other families.

  • $800 (full tuition): Reflects the full cost of class and helps ensure everyone can participate.

  • $600 (25% off): A meaningful contribution that balances your needs and supports others.

  • $400 (50% off): A flexible option for families balancing other financial priorities.

  • $200 (75% off): A reduced rate for families prioritizing affordability.

  • $0 (FREE): Fully covered for families who need it, no questions asked.

You will have the option of choosing your tuition on the registration check-out page. Be sure to select the payment plan option if you want to break your payments up. Please note you will also have the option of paying your chosen amount in full if you prefer.
