Refund Policy
Academic Year Programs Cancellations
If Seattle JazzED cancels an academic year program on or before the start of the program, 100% of your paid tuition will be refunded back to you. We will let you know about the cancellation immediately via email with more information.
If Seattle JazzED cancels one or more quarters of an academic year program after the start of the program, the cost of each cancelled quarter (as chosen by the registrant during sign up) will be refunded.
Example: Foundations is $2,400 a year, or $800 a quarter. If Spring Quarter is cancelled:
Full price (no waiver): families will be issued an $800 refund
25% OFF: families will be issued a $600 refund
50% OFF: families will be issued a $400 refund
75% OFF: families will be issued a $200 refund
If a student or family cancels enrollment before the start of the academic year program, a full tuition refund will be issued. Any paid program tuition can also become an allocated credit balance to use towards registration for another program in the future. If you’re interested in receiving your refund as a credit, please contact our Programs Team at programs@seattlejazzed.org for further assistance.
If a student or family cancels enrollment after the start of the academic year program, a partial refund will be issued based on the percentage of classes that remain AND chosen refund method.
If receiving refund to original payment method:
A cancellation fee of $25 is added to the transaction
Example: If you paid $2,000 for Fall Quarter ($200/class) and cancel after 7 classes, a refund of $600 ($200 x 3 classes) will be processed. At the end, the customer will receive $575 back after the cancellation fee.
If receiving refund to Active account:
Customer will receive the amount equal to the number of classes remaining based on their chosen tuition.
Example: If you paid $2,000 for Fall Quarter ($200/class) and cancel after 7 classes, the customer will receive a $600 credit ($200 x 3 classes) in their Active account to use for future programming.
